For Conference Organizers

The Scholar’s Choice displays books for more than 200 publishers each academic year. Over 80 publishers display with us on a regular basis. This allows us to provide your conference attendees with an extensive list of new titles relevant to their fields of interest.

We will work closely with your organization to bring a top-quality exhibit that showcases the current research and publishing activities in your discipline. We need only minimal assistance from you, namely:

• The name and phone/email for your local arrangements person
• Placement of the exhibit near registration, coffee and/or sessions
• Established set-up and exhibit hours
• Hotel information
• Preliminary program and/or list of speakers
• Shipping information: Contact name, address, storage space where necessary

We will organize and staff a combined book exhibit that is specifically designed for your conference. There is no cost to you for our services. We display recently published books, selected by publishers as being appropriate to your meeting. Frequently, we can also offer new titles by conference speakers.

How to Request a Book Exhibit

While The Scholar’s Choice has a number of conferences at which we exhibit on an annual basis, we are also interested in exploring new markets. Our exhibit year is divided into three seasons: fall, spring and summer. Our schedules are distributed to publishers approximately four months before the beginning of each season. Thus, we urge conference organizers to request an exhibit as early as possible, usually from nine months to a year in advance. However, in rare circumstances we can consider a request on shorter notice. Call for more information at 585-262-2048 x 111 or email mlh@scholarschoice.com.

Some of the information you will be asked when requesting an exhibit:

• The dates and location of your meeting
• The contact person for specific information
• The expected number of attendees/number of papers
• Whether or not there will be other exhibitors
