For the most part, The Scholar’s Choice treats libraries as any other conference customer and passes their conference orders for books directly on to publishers for fulfillment. All conference orders must be prepaid and the conference name or code must be mentioned. The Scholar’s Choice staff will prepare pro-forma invoices upon request.
As an offshoot of its main exhibiting activity, The Scholar’s Choice does have a special "mailing list" program for libraries. From our exhibits, we eventually accumulate a stock of gently used "display copies." From time to time, we are able to offer these books to libraries at discount rates of up to 35% off newer titles and 50% or more off older books. We do this by means of special lists sent to our participating libraries.
The discounts are available only on our own stock of display books. While not brand new, most of these books are in "as new" condition. However, because we are primarily a book exhibit company the supply of our sale books is limited to one or two copies per title.
