For Publishers
The Scholar’s Choice provides publishers with excellent opportunities to enhance their sales and exposure of academic books. Each year, we display and sell books at over 160 scholarly meetings. In addition, we are always looking for new meetings to add to our schedule.
Our Focus: The Humanities
We attend regional, national, and international conferences. Most of the conferences are scheduled annually. Others are one-time events. We regularly attend meetings in the following subject areas: Anthropology, Art, Classical Studies, Ethnicity, Film, History, Literature, Medieval Studies, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Renaissance Studies, Theatre, Women’s Studies…and many more!
Smart Exhibiting
The Scholar’s Choice provides attractive book displays, where your books are exhibited “face out” in an eye-catching manner. Browsers are easily able to thumb through pages, read excerpts and familiarize themselves with your latest publications. Not only do you gain exposure in the academic market, you actually make sales. Our exhibits get results and generate conference orders through The Scholar's Choice as well as sales through campus, local and web-based bookstores. Our displays also encourage scholars to recommend new titles to their university libraries.
Exhibiting with The Scholar’s Choice saves time and money. Our team of experienced professionals organizes and staffs each book exhibit. We produce an order form for each meeting and pass along any orders to you for processing and shipping. The Scholar’s Choice also continues to take orders after a conference via phone, fax, and mail. We offer your customers a toll-free line for any ordering or customer service issues.
Fees
Publishers may choose to exhibit with The Scholar’s Choice either contractually or from meeting to meeting.
Yearly contracts run from September 1 through August 31, and offer substantial savings and enhanced services. Contracts are available on various levels from 50 to 500 titles.
Single meeting fees are $75 for the first title and $55 for each additional title. One display copy of each book listed is also required as part of the exhibit fee.

We will be happy to provide you with reservation forms for any of our meetings. Simply fax or email the completed reservation form back to us and ship the necessary display copies to our office.
